Today my bones were really aching, it was weird! Especially my lower back and hands. This totally ticks me off since I sooo badly want to learn how to kite-surf, but my hands do not have lots of strength anymore So I got to thinking how many bones have I broken in my lifetime and am now finding that they hurt sometimes?
First of all, I've always been adventurous and all my injuries have come from either biking, climbing, bodyboarding/surfing or horseback riding... hehehe, but I sure did have fun!!! Let's see: my collarbone, a couple fingers and a couple toes, one of my arms, one of my legs, most of my ribs and the rest of my ribs were cracked. I've had 3 bad concussions (yeah, all three horseback riding lolll) but the worst of them all was when I injured my back many years ago bodyboarding in Tofino's Pacific Rim Surf Spot in Canada.
Apparently people with injuries like mine are prone to arthritus and fibromyalgia settling into their bones. But hey, better to live life than to miss out because you fear getting hurt. At least, that is my humble opinion... hehehe :) So have fun, just be a bit more careful than I have been so far!
