As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm in the middle of getting my 45-year old life sorted out and getting back into shape after being dragged over the coals by my bodybuilding brother who came to visit. Harsh words, tough love but good advice ;) So the past week I've been working hard making the small daily changes in routine, attitude, eating habits. My best achievement was fast-walking from my house ALL the way to my favorite beach the other afternoon.
Not just part way and then jumping on the first motococho that stopped and offered me a ride. I don't hitchhike but I have no qualms about catching a motorbike ride the rest of the way to the beach when the sun is baking. This week I called out 'no thanks' to everyone who slowed down to offer me a ride. *PS: I always will pick riding on a motorbike with a guy carrying a machete rather than cramming in a car with a bunch of people. At least I have great airflow on the motorbike...lolll ;)
It felt great to achieve some of my goals and although this was only a couple of miles to walk, it was a nice little workout to get the my blood flowing. I can always create artwork better after I tire myself out physically. I think its because I get all proud of myself...hahahahha :) I realize there are certain things I can't let slip, but I will trade off other things to get the time I need to reach my fitness goals! I guess it boils down to how bad do I want this ;) I thought of posting before and after pictures of myself, but I don't want to lose my regular followers... lollll ;)
